Day Four

Had another fairly relaxing day, went out for breakfast to TJ's - a sweet little family run diner, followed by a trip to Westgate to the cinema there to watch 'Super 8', which was better than expected, quite funny in parts too.
Spending the rest of the day around the pool and (wouldn't you figure) eating and drinking. Already made some malibu and pineapple smoothies!


Getting ready for our first road trip out tomorrow to Flagstaff in order to escape some of the heat here in Phoenix, although it's still going to be between 80-90F.

A few snaps from last night; had a great evening, lots of food, and Rachel brought us this wonderful cake! Sat outside nattering under the stars in the heat until we were all pretty much falling asleep! X

Day Three

Another pool day today, it's currently 110F and the humidity is reaching 60, despite the jokes about Arizona being a 'dry heat' - I feel like someone is holding my head in a 200 degree oven.
Pete, Shayne, and Rachel are coming round for dinner later, so that'll be nice. Big apple pie for afterwards!


Another 'doss day' planned for tomorrow before we head off to Flagstaff on Monday.
I think more shopping is in order..!
