Day Twenty Two

A catch up post as we didn't have free wi-fi in Vegas, as it cost a ridiculous amount per day, nothing like a good old rip-off eh. Managed to do a mini post before this the other day (see previous post) where I frantically tapped away in the Apple store in Caesars Palace hogging their wifi!

As seen here:

(thanks dad)

Anyway, we had a good time for our past few days in Vegas. It never fails to amaze me how a new building without fail will be there each time we go; this time there was an entire 'city' that had been built. Lots of gorgeous things inside to buy in the shopping part there 'Crystals' - of course, all Chanel, Gucci, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, so maybe when we win the lottery eh?

Took us six hours pretty much to drive there on Monday, spent the rest of the day going round the majority of the hotels (as our hotel was in the middle of the Vegas Strip), then flopping into bed after our feet could take no more walking. Despite how close together the hotels appear, do not be fooled.

Tuesday we went around some more hotels up at the other end of the Strip, taking hundreds more photographs (prepare to be bombarded) - and doing some shopping. Also went out for a lovely meal at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, where mother Brown was pretty much 'gone' after just one (very strong) margarita.

Our last day, Wednesday, we finished up walking around and exploring all the different hotels, followed by (yet another) fabulous meal at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville; then going around the, extremely crowded, Strip at night-time to see the Bellagio's dancing fountains, the Mirage's erupting volcano, and all the flashing lights of Vegas.

Got back to Phoenix not too long ago, after setting off quite early this morning (dad was determined to get us up and out by 7am!) to be greeted by two very happy 'critters', Toby and Tia.

Going out for a meal tonight, then unfortunately it's time for packing tomorrow as we fly on Saturday morning; time really has 'flown by'.

X

PS. will do a separate Vegas photo post.
