Set off this morning for Sunset Crater where there was a volcanic eruption sometime around 1080 and 1150 AD, which has left lots of volcanic ash and lava still here today which we were able to walk on.
Didn't do all the walks around the crater as we were so hungry and couldn't find the place where we wanted to eat for breakfast.
By a twist of fate we ended up at the breakfast place (Mike and Ronda's diner) - where we pretty much demolished three giant portions within five minutes. Not surprising really.
Decided to stay in downtown Flagstaff and look around the historic area which was interesting, lots of lovely old buildings and boutique shops.
Currently posting this from the pool area as we are planning on having a relaxing afternoon after this mornings hike.
