On the road, we set off for Flagstaff this morning as part of our first road trip out of Phoenix.
Took us longer to get here than expected as we missed the only turn-off for Flagstaff, and ended up in Winslow instead; however, this lead us to "standin' on the corner of Winslow Arizona" - as made famous by the Eagles. And so we did.
We're staying at the 'Little America' hotel - great place, a lovely room too, and it has it's own part of the forest around the back, which we had a walk around but got a bit...lost, and ended up in an RV park, oops!
Also stopped off at Tonto Natural Bridge on our journey towards Flagstaff, but it was so hot, and more humid here than in Phoenix, we could barely manage the hike.
- Plans for tomorrow include going in caves and on a lava flow! X
