We're going to Savino Canyon today :) It's only about 14miles away from our hotel so nothing really!
Went out for a meal last night at the restaurant downstairs, it was so so good! Everything looked really well presented and tasted amazing too!

Tucson Mall yesterday where there were over 450 shops! And lots of sales. Yess!
Had our most needed lunch at the beloved Johnny Rockets with our vanilla malt shake we have all missed ever so much!
See pictures below for yet more food, and our hotel:
:)

Well, we've arrived at our first stop off whilst being on the road; currently in Tucson staying at the lovely 'La Posada' which over-looks the Catalina mountains :)

It's 94 degrees outside at the moment! Although, of course, we've got the typical European skin - red arms and legs, nice.

Just got back from the Tucson mall, with over 450 shops! Got a bit carried away and blew almost $200 dollars there! But ohh, it was worth it.

Think we might be going out for a meal later, not sure...

This is where we're staying:
We have a balcony room too so we can see the mountains better and look over the rest of the hotels grounds and surroundings :)

Out on the road tomorrow, setting off in the morning to go to Tucson where we'll be stopping off at the hugeee Tucson mall along the way then staying over in our hotel 'La Posada' ;) for two nights and in Tucson for three days :)
On Wednesday we should be going out and about to the Suaro cacti park and out for a little wanter about Tucson :)

I think this calls for some Beatles?

Jojo was a man who thought he was a loner
But he knew it wouldn't last.
Jojo left his home in Tucson, Arizona
For some California grass.
Get back, get back.
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back.
Get back to where you once belonged.
Get back Jojo. Go home
Get back, get back.
Back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back.
Back to where you once belonged.
Get back Jo.
Started off the shopping yesterday :') one of many trips, of course.

Went to Goodyear market in the morning where they sell all handmade crafts and jewelry etc, that was good :) bought a pretty necklace too

Only a quick stop off on the way back home to Marshalls, but still managed to get a top and a cardigan!

Keith and Liezel came around afterwards for another lovely BBQ too :)
Another pool day today whilst Auntie Mandy and Uncle David are out at work; took the dogs on a run this morning - banned Tia from the sprinklers this time! Then came back and just lazed around the pool :)
Although, Tia and Toby were too scared and couldn't be bothered to go in the pool and retreive the ball themselves so I had to go knee deep in my jeans and got soaking wet! Ugh.

As for the cats? Well, they're busy being anti-social, as ever, watching the world go by out of the office window!

Woke to the sound of the Beatles and the smell of pancakes, can you really beat that? Didn't think so.
;)

Having another BBQ later! Friends are coming round who live down the road, so that should be good :)

Think we're going shopping (again) though first... there's a big market place near here that sell all bits and bobs including jewelry and old vintagey things, then we're going to one of the shopping complex's (well, the girls are!) before coming back again for the BBQ later.

Post again soon!

Went our for breakfast at this little quaint family-run diner, had a hugeee sweet-waffle with strawberries and cream! Then came back and just had another day around the house yesterday, I'm going to do a video of it so everyone can see better rather than just in photo's, but my videos are having troubles uploading at the minute :( !

The diner:

The front of the house and bits:

As the Browns had arrived, the food supplies had become rather...low, so off we went in search of more food, beer, cake and wine - as ever.

Also, if you try and look for veggie burgers/anything quorn in Phoenix... don't. There is none. Guess I'm going to be living on a lot of tofu and chicken!

Took the dogs out on a big run around Litchfield park in the afternoon, Tia - the puppy was dragging me down the road running in flip flops (never good) whilst Tobydog, the old man he won't accept that he is, had to hobble behind :')

Letting them have a run on one of the big parks near, Tia keps leaving her ball and refused to pick it up.. right in the middle of a line of eight huge sprinklers. Well, you can imagine how that went down.

I finally worked out the timing for which way each sprinkler would shoot out their ridiculous amounts of water and made a run for it, little did I know they all moved around in every direction possible! To Tia and Toby's great amusement, they, and everyone else on the park, had the joy of watching me dance between the sprinklers dodging them like I was stepping on hot coal. Did it do me any good? No. Do you know why? Because Tia thought it would be a brilliant idea to then go and try and eat the sprinkler, so she sent it haywire! It just happened to be the one right next to me. Then Toby joins in, so all three of us were now stuck in the middle of all this water gushing towards us absolutely dripping wet. It didn't help matters either when Tia got bored and decided to sit on top of the sprinkler, which actually stopped it... until the pressure of the water got too much and it exploded in EVERY direction.

Thanks Tia.

So that was that, the three of us walked home soaking wet.

Oh, and she lost her ball. Again.

Regardless, home to find that Lorrie and her mum Dona had arrived for a BBQ we were having :) So we all had a good laugh and ate wayyy too much, as ever, then went off to bed.

:) good (yet wet) day.

My my, I'm slacking with these posts already! Although, personally, I blame dad for not giving me the photos ;) !

So anyway...

Friday night:

we went to Alice Coopers bar, 'Coopers town' which, was ace, full of memorabilia and great music, also It's one of the best places to eat and drink! Sat at the bar talking to the guys working behind with their Alice Cooper inspired make up on :') then ordered some food when our friends Pete, Shayne and her mum and dad came to meet us :)

Then it was off to the basketball to watch the Phoenix Suns beat the New York Nicks ;) down at the US Airways Center across the road...

Oh! And me and Shayne won a locker room tour! But it's not until either next Tuesday or Thursday..we're going out on the road to Tucson and around on Tuesday but we should be back home for Thursday but we don't know the times yet hmm..

All in all, a good night :)
